Fair Weather Policy

Weather Conditions That Qualify for Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel or modify rentals at our discretion due to any weather conditions we deem unsafe. While the following conditions will typically result in cancellation, we may cancel rentals in other weather situations as needed to ensure customer safety:

Seasonal Operations

  • We operate seasonally from mid-March through November/early December
  • During shoulder seasons (late March, early November), we operate by appointment only when temperatures are forecasted to be below 60°F
  • Please contact us at least 2 hours in advance to confirm availability during cooler weather

Temperature

  • Below 54°F (12°C)
  • Heat index above 105°F (41°C)

Precipitation

  • Active rainfall exceeding 0.1 inches per hour
  • Forecasted thunderstorms
  • Snow or sleet
  • Freezing rain
  • Hail of any size

Wind

  • Sustained winds above 25 mph
  • Wind gusts exceeding 35 mph

Other Conditions

  • Lightning within 10 miles
  • Flash flood warnings
  • Severe weather watches or warnings
  • Excessive heat warnings
  • Winter weather advisories

Cancellation Process

Our Cancellation

  1. We will monitor weather conditions 24 hours before your rental
  2. If severe weather is forecasted, we will contact you via SMS and email
  3. You will receive a full refund for weather-related cancellations made by our team
  4. We may offer to reschedule your rental for a different time or date

Customer Cancellation

  1. Check weather conditions before your rental
  2. Cancel at least 2 hours before rental time if weather meets our criteria
  3. Receive a weather credit or full refund if conditions meet our criteria

Important: Reservations that have been rescheduled at the customer’s request are subject to our standard cancellation timeframes, but weather-related cancellations after a reschedule will not qualify for refunds.

Refund Options

  • Full refund to original payment method
  • Credit toward future rental (valid for 1 year)
  • Reschedule for another date (subject to availability)
